DESCRIPTION:In the lead up to Anzac Day\, this free school holiday program invites families to explore stories of medals\, memory and creativity. \nChildren will join a guided tour of the Shrine\, discovering First World War medals\, stories of bravery\, and an original Gallipoli landing boat. \nAfter the tour\, kids can get creative with a hands-on activity\, designing their own medal-themed bookmark to take home. \nBlending storytelling with creativity\, this program encourages children to explore\, reflect and connect with Anzac Day in a meaningful\, easy-to-understand way\, while gaining insight into service\, sacrifice and remembrance. \nPerfect for ages 8–12. \nRunning daily from Tuesday 7 April – Wednesday 15 April (excluding Friday 10 – Sunday 12 April).
