Open Horizons – Ancient Greek Journeys and Connections is taking visitors back in time! For a limited time and exclusively to Melbourne Museum, you can experience and see for yourself some of the most significant items that tell the ideas, influences and connections that formed and built communities in Ancient Grece.

The exhibition features 44 ancient works and items from the prestigious National Archaeological Museum in Athens. It explores how the Greek culture was influenced by the trade of ideas and goods, and how this eventually led to the Greeks influencing the ancient world.
Open Horizons will also give visitors the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see historical articles that represent periods of economic and cultural trade between Greece and its neighbours, from times dating back to the Early Bronze Age up until the Roman period.
