This week the temporary summer pavilion has been hosting a series of kids’ live art-making workshops which finish on Sunday. Paper Planet is a jungle of cardboard trees filled with paper leaves, knights and magical creatures. Children are invited to contribute their own paper animals, plants and products to the forest as the installation grows each day.
A live soundscape of twittering and rustling transports you further into the fantasy world.
It’s play and performance mixed into one and Lady AB’s favourite interaction was with a curious and humorous bunny. She wasn’t so much interested in creating her own paper forms in the chaotic world, while other kids were busy making creatures and scenery using only paper, cardboard, masking tape and imagination.
