Love paper, cardboard, tape and creative, imaginative play? Join Polyglot Theatre to help create Paper Planet at MPavilion.
Paper Planet is a jungle of cardboard trees filled with paper leaves, knights and magical creatures. Children are invited to contribute their own paper animals, plants and products to the forest as the installation grows each day.
A live soundscape of twittering and rustling transports you further into the fantasy world.
It’s play and performance mixed into one and Lady AB’s favourite interaction was with a curious and humorous bunny. She isn’t so much interested in creating her own paper forms in the chaotic world, while other kids were busy making creatures and scenery using only paper, cardboard, masking tape and imagination.
The Paper Planet workshops are free and held from 10am – noon and 2pm – 4pm, though the installation is on display the whole day the MPavilion is open.
