Crown Melbourne is once again hosting the free Zodiac Spectacular to celebrate Chinese New Year / Lunar New Year.

TheZodiac Spectacular display in The Atrium at Crown Towers features twelve elaborate Chinese zodiac animal lanterns winding their grand staircase and an aerial sculpture created from 40 bright lanterns.

These colourful silk lanterns are similar to those seen at the popular Dandenong Festival of Lights in previous years.

The animal lanterns, as well as the sixty red Chinese lanterns suspended from the ceiling, are internally lit and the animals change colour over time.

In the evening there are roving lion dancers performing at The Atrium steps. You can see the lion team performances from Friday 20 January – Sunday 29 January 2023 (Excluding Thursday 26 January 2023) at 7pm and 9pm.

Zodiac Spectacular is a delightful display for children and a worthwhile stop if you’re heading to one of Crown’s restaurants to celebrate Chinese New Year or visiting any of Crown’s other Lunar and Chinese New Year events.
