Christmas Under the Big Top Melbourne

Brought to life by Circus Royale, Christmas Under the Big Top includes over 2 and a half hours of unlimited festive fun – with something for everyone!

Join Mrs Claus for some festive storytelling, and carols that are sure to put everyone in the Christmas spirit. The kids can enjoy writing their letter to Santa with the help of special letter-writing elves, and sending them off to the big man in red from the North Pole Post Office.

During the 2023 Christmas Under the Big Top, experience the magic of Christmas in the interactive walkthrough under the big top tent, where you can see, hear, touch, and smell all the wonders of the season.

Watch thrilling performances by Circus Royale, and meet Elmo and Cookie Monster from Sesame Street and enjoy their Christmas show.

Savour delicious treats at Mrs Claus’ Bakery, and create special take-home crafts with the cheeky elves!

No trip to Christmas Under the Big Top is complete without a visit to Santa himself. You can even take photos with him for an additional charge.

Or even take a sneak peek into Santa Land through his loungeroom window and see just what Santa is up to as the big day draws nearer.

For little ones who need to let their wriggles out, the Stacka-Blocks section lets their creativity flow in this free-play block construction zone. Their creations are limited only by their imagination!

And if you thought the fun ended there, you were mistaken! There will be so much more to explore and enjoy in this interactive walk-through adventure, such as meeting Christmas elves, a walking / talking Christmas bauble, plum pudding, the snow queen, and the Christmas bear all frantically preparing for the busiest time of year. They’re never too busy to say hello and stop for a selfie with you!

Christmas Under the Big Top will be open from Friday 24 November until Sunday 24 December 2023. Tickets are currently on sale for $36 including booking fee. Family tickets for a family of four cost $122 including booking fee and are available for evening shows only. Note that for family tickets, at least one adult is required to attend and accompany the group. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door.
