French-themed music festival So Frenchy So Chic returns for another summer with a family-friendly event at Werribee Park on Sunday 14 January.
The event is like a fancy garden party, grand picnic and celebration of all things French with a day of music, food and fun.
While Féfé, General Elektriks, Juniore, L.E.J and Frànçois & the Atlas Mountains take the main stage, there’s a lot more to enjoy on the day. Last year Lady AB and I attended and had a fun and relaxing time. We lay on our picnic rugs, enjoyed the music in the background, ate ice cream and macarons, read books and joined in the children’s games.
So Frenchy So Chic has always been a family-friendly event, with kids 12 and under welcome free of charge. If the tunes aren’t to the taste of little ones, Les Enfants Zone is always full of life.
With croquet, life-sized chess, hopscotch, face painting, drumming classes, balloon and bubble making, the young at heart have an endless array of entertainment available throughout the festival. A tip – if you have more than one adult it’s good to be able to split up the queueing up for the more popular activities. Set up home base and let the kids enjoy the joie de vivre!
Thanks to So Frenchy So Chic I have 2 x adult passes (children under 12 are free) to the event at Werribee Park on Sunday 14 January. To win just follow the instructions below.
Winners will be randomly drawn and notified after midnight Monday 8 January. Victorian residents only. Good luck!
