Kenneth Grahame’s classic tale ‘The Wind in the Willows‘ has been transformed into a new interactive one-man theatrical adaptation for families. It’s playing at Gasworks Arts Park, a vibrant arts precinct in Albert Park, for one date only – Tuesday 11 July.
Written by award-winning writer, Maxine Mellor, the adaptation follows Shaka Cook (from Jasper Jones) as he plays all four of the woodland creatures – Ratty, Mole, Badger and Mr. Toad. We follow their journeys, trials and misadventures around the river, the Wild Woods and beyond. With a magical backdrop, the four woodland creatures explore the value of friendship, kindness and understanding.
