  • Jurassic World Melbourne Museum (Fri 22 Apr – Sun 9 Oct) – exhibition is based on Universal Pictures’ Jurassic World. FULL REVIEW. 
  • Inside the Brick North Melbourne (Sat 25 Jun – Sun 26 Jun) – LEGO creations on display including original works and rare and collectible Star Wars, Minecraft, Superheroes, Friends, City, including a HUGE LEGO Train village.
  • NAIDOC Week Melbourne Museum (Sat 25 Jun – Sun 10 Jul) – take a journey through ancient history and explore Australia as seen by Koori people over 2000 generations.
  • A Tower of Giraffe Melbourne Zoo (Sat 25 Jun – Sun 10 Jul) – new giraffe exhibit viewing platform and learn all about these African animals during the daily Giraffe Keeper Talk.
  • All Day Fritz at Open Studio Northcote (Sun 26 Jun) – rootsy, groovy and always harmonious songs which gets everyone from kids to grandparents on their feet.
  • Openworld (Mon 27 Mar – Fri 8 Jul) – program of building and creativity with Minecraft, LEGO, Robotics, 3D Modelling & Printing, Games Design, YouTube Movie-Making.
  • Studio Magnifica Coburg (Mon 27 Jun – Fri 8 Jul) – art classes every weekday for 3-5 year olds (and 5-12 year olds) with different themes.
  • Melbourne Magic Festival Northcote (Mon 27 Jun – Sat 9 Jul) – see world class performances of magic in a theatrical environment.
  • Westside Circus Brunswick (Mon 27 Jun – Wed 6 Jul) – Workshops for kids 3+ to improve general circus skills, make your own circus equipment and learn how to put on a show.
  • Mosster Collingwood (Wed 29 Jun – Fri 8 Jul) – Free workshops on conductivity and coding by Mosster design studio.
  • La Mama for Kids Carlton (Sat 2 Jul – Sun 10 Jul) – Through theatre trickery and special effects you will take a 4D adventure through underwater landscapes and alien worlds created out of recycled plastic.
  • Disney Beauty and the Beast Jnr (Wed 6 Jul – Sat 9 Jul) – One act stage adaptation presented by the Young Australian Broadway Chorus.
  • Indigenous Storytelling Bundoora Wed 6 Jul – Thu 7 Jul) – Help celebrate NAIDOC week by joining cultural educator and storyteller Ron Murray for a unique insight into Indigenous culture.
  • Picasso and his Dog Darebin Arts (Fri 8 Jul – Sun 10 Jul) – new work by Lemony S Puppet Theatre is a gorgeous mix of live art-making on stage, puppetry and magic realism.



  • Build your story worlds Carnegie (Sat 18 Jun – Sun 3 Jul) – Join in the creation of a large-scale story worlds. Through the use of recycled materials, pencils, crayons, and your imagination, you can add your own creativity to this large scale community art installation.
  • Woody’s World Prahran (Sat 25 Jun – Sun 26 Jun) – ‘The Good Morning Kids Show’, a sell out at The Melbourne Recital Centre, is a magical place where alley cats sing and dance, mice invite you in for a cup of tea and farm animals gather together for a bush dance.
  • Story Peddlers McKinnon (Sat 25 Jun) – enjoy traditional fables, folklore and fantasy tales in a colourful, handmade, warm and inviting space.
  • Christmas in July at Luna Park (Sat 25 Jun – Sun 10 Jul) – Luna Park is decking the halls with Christmas jolly these winter school holidays – and everyone is invited!
  • Celebrating style – 1950s Melbourne (Sun 26 Jun, Sun 3 Jul) – Dress-up in 1950s fashion garments and accessories, take Polaroids and add fabric and collage elements to the display.
  • Habitots Albert Park (Mon 27 June – Fri 8 Jul) – various workshops for kids from 1+ years.
  • Kids In Motion (Mon 27 Jun – Fri 8 Jul) – half and full day active and sport programs.
  • Fitness For Fun (Mon 27 Jun – Fri 8 Jul) – Gym and acrobatic activities in Prahran, Windsor and East Hawthorn.
  • Fizz Kidz Malvern East (Mon 27 Jun – Fri 8 Jul) -Each child takes home their own special all natural cosmetic creation from our holiday program’s events in Melbourne.
