On Saturday 19 December, Sunday 20 December, Tuesday 5 January and Wednesday 6 January, children aged 0-12 years are invited to bring a pre-loved book to the Book Swap Bike, a Danish Christiania cargo bike transformed into a miniature mobile library filled with secondhand children’s books. Children can then swap their book for another book to take home.
Families can also choose to borrow a book from the Book Swap Bike and enjoy some quiet story time, join in the story-telling sessions happening on the hour and simply lie back and relax in thePop Up Park to the ambient soundscape created by Footscray sound artist Architecture of Audio.
We had such a great time at the last pop up, we can’t wait to read, swap and play again!
