CBD / Docklands

  • Stir Frydays at Queen Victoria Market (Fri 13 Nov) – Every Friday until 27 November, Therry Street will be closed to traffic to create an Asian street party filled with food carts, trucks and bars serving up the best of the Orient. READ THE REVIEW.

  • Reading about Homes with Tai Snaith MPavilion (Sun 15 Nov) – Melbourne artist and author Tai Snaith joins us under AL_A’s canopy to read from her all-time favourite picture books about homes, including her own book Sticks and Stones, Animal Homes.
  • Polish Festival at Federation Square (Sun 15 Nov) – Bringing a taste of Poland to Melbourne.

  • Our Land is Alive: Hermannsburg Potters for Kids at NGV Australia (Fri 6 Nov– Apr 16) – The exhibition presents a major NGV commission of twenty AFL-themed Hermannsburg pots which depict iconic moments for Aboriginal players in the AFL. READ THE REVIEW.
