Build & Rebuild Logo - Orange

You’ve probably seen bits of information on social media about an exciting project that I’m running over the March/April school holidays called ‘Build & Rebuild’.

Last year Maribyrnong City Council launched the Artsbox program with a free artist residency inside a shipping container at Footscray Library. From Monday 23 March to Wednesday 15 April, Jo Skladzien (a friend with a background in design and architecture) and I will be artists-in-residence.

Build & Rebuild will transform Footscray Library’s courtyard with a series of free workshops for 2-12 year olds, including our showcase event – the building of a milk bottle igloo! Plus at the Artsbox we have lots of fun drop-in activities for families with an architecture, construction and sustainability theme.
