Rescue Scienceworks

Scienceworks in Spotswood is has a whole array of school holiday activities this September, stuff from Saturday 20 September to Sunday 5 October. It’s one of our favourite family destinations and there’s something for toddlers right up to older kids.

Exhibitions

Rescue – Temporary exhibition about rescue services, click from firefighters to surf lifesavers. Closes Sunday 5 October. READ THE REVIEW.

To tie into the exhibition there’s a special event on Thursday 2 October ‘Community Safety Day’ where you can learn how emergency services and other related organisations keep our community safe with demonstrations and shows.

Think Ahead – New permanent exhibition about the future. READ THE REVIEW.

Science Fiction Science Future – New temporary exhibition bringing science fiction concepts to our future reality. READ THE REVIEW.

Planetarium Shows

Starlight – Uncover the mystery to the stars.

Tycho to the Moon – Meet Tycho, a dog who doesn’t just howl at the moon, but wants to go there.

Bolt from the Blue – Explore the remarkable properties and mysteries of lightning in this live show.
