east melbourne library

Open House Melbourne have released their kids program for the weekend of festivities on 26/27 July 2014.

My picks for the best Open House Melbourne venues for under 5s are:

1. the rarely open to the public Athenaeum Library and the papercut art of Kyoko Imazu;

2. behind the scenes tour of the exhibition and graphic design departments of National Gallery of Victoria plus some crazy crayon fun at Pastello: Draw Act; and

3. the brilliant East Melbourne Library with its reading pod made of milk cartons; and

4. All Mapped Out at ArtPlay where you can create a giant map of our your imagining plus map-related activities to try out.

You can pick up an OHM Kids activity book from any of the kids program venues for when you are out and about.
