Another fantastic cultural school holiday idea, this time by Victorian Opera which is opening its annual pantomime this Thursday.

Everyone must know the story of Sleeping Beauty….The birth of Princess Aurora is being celebrated in the magical mountain kingdom of Valeriana. An uninvited evil fairy places a terrible curse on the young child. On her 16th birthday the princess will prick her finger on a spinning wheel and sleep for a hundred years.

But the show is anything but traditional. Victorian Opera’s pantomime is 60 minutes of pure colour, comedy, song and dance and is suitable for children aged 6 and up.

Giveaway! Thanks to Victorian Opera we have 2 x family passes (2 adults + 2 children up to 18 years) for the performance on Thursday 17 January 11:30am to give away. To win, all you have to do is leave a comment and two winners will be drawn randomly on Wednesday 16 January. Tickets will be able to be picked up at the theatre box office on the day 1 hour before the performance.
