We’ve been running a lot of artsy/cultural event giveaways lately and so we thought you also might be interested in knowing about a summer series of enewsletters by Arts Victoria called Hot Days Cool Arts.

Hot Days Cool Arts is a new initiative geared towards families to showcase the family friendly stuff at the major cultural institutions over summer. Partners include the State Library, National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne Museum and the Melbourne Recital Centre –  all of which we visit semi-regularly and have featured previously on the blog.

Hot Days Cool Arts has a website so that you can find out about everything cultural for families to do over the summer in the one place, making it easier to plan and organise an outing. The website will list events and things to do as well as provide some more in depth behind the scenes stories about arts collections and people that make up the major cultural institutions in Melbourne.

We’ve subscribed to the email newsletter as it’s a great way to remind ourselves of the heaps of interesting artsy things to see and do in Melbourne and stay cool when the weather hots up. And of course we’ll be reviewing any interesting events that we attend too!
